Internship in Aim India is a fixed-term work placement usually done either during the holidays or as part of a university degree. An internship could also be classed as a traineeship as internships essentially lay the basic foundations for the intern to gain a better knowledge of the workings and day-to-day tasks of their chosen profession. Interns are usually set tasks to complete throughout the placement and at times, form part of the projects, presentations and ventures of the organisation.Intern will get valuable experience by working in our internship placement. What's the difference between an intern and a volunteer?
We are asked this quite often. Basically, an internship is something that you choose to do in order to develop your skills in a profession. Volunteering can also serve this purpose, but the driving force is your desire to help out. So for example, a teaching program can be viewed as an internship by those who wish to develop their teaching skills, or as volunteering for those who are just looking to help out.
